Day 10
Today is departure day. We all make our way to the airport for an early morning return flight to Cairo. Those not extending their trip, you'll make your connection flights homeward from here.
Possible Cairo Extension
Day 10: For those extending the trip to explore a bit of Cairo, we'll be met by our guide at the airport and wisked off for an afternoon touring Islamic Cairo.

Day 11: Today, we'll explore Coptic Cairo and the Old Egyptian Museum.

Day 12: Depart Cairo.

Is airfare included in the price of the tour?No. The price of the tour is for a the 10-day guided experience on the groudn in Egypt. Because clients will be departing from different cities, it is our experience that people prefer to book flights that work best for them in terms of pricing and, potentially, their own airline points.

Are meals included in the cost of the tour?The following meals are included: - daily breakfast at each hotel, except for the day of arrival; - 1 group lunch on our day exploring the pyramids; - 1 group dinner in Aswan; and - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea each day on the Nile cruise. Bottled water is supplied during all guided tours. Any other meals, snacks, alcoholic drinks, or other food not listed will be paid for by the guest on location.

Are tips included in the tour price?All tips related to egyptologist guides, drivers, city agents, cruise staff, and other activities included as part of the tour description are included in the overall price. However, guests are responsible for personal tipping when someone provides a service outside of the activities described in the tour summary. Egypt has a vibrant tipping culture, which applies to locals and visitors alike. Tipping is expected in restaurants and guests will be responsible for such tips themselves anytime the meal is not included as part of the Always Travels tour itinerary. Addtionally, if someone unrelated to our group offers to carry your bag, take your photo, provide you with directions or information, or otherwise "assist" you in any way, they will likely expect a small tip. Public toilets also typically have attendants, who will expect a small tip. Guest are responsible for these individualized tips.
